  • 1. What is the difference between A&A works, Reconstruction, Renovation, and Design & Build?

    Most people often associate interior renovation with A&A works. They are not the same. Let's define the following. 

    A&A works: It is making changes (interior or structural) changes to an existing property as long as the construction does not exceed 50% of either the GFA, Structures elements such as beams and columns, or external walls. 

    Reconstruction: It means making changes to the property when the construction is more than 50% of the GFA, structure elements, or external walls. On top of that, it will also be a reconstruction project if the height or form of the property is changed. For example, from a single-storeyed terraced to a double-storeyed semi-detached house. 

    Renovation - It simply means making non-structural or minor changes to the interior space of a property.

    Design & Build - A one-stop service provided by a house building contractor with its in-house designer or architect. House owners can enjoy a large amount of savings. The savings can then be re-diverted to better quality materials and stronger profit margins if the homeowners were to sell the properties in the future.

  • 3. How long does it usually take to rebuild a house?

    Depending on the size of the property, the scale of work, and the complexity of the project, as well as the availability of the building professionals, the timeline to complete a house from scratch varies. 

    On average, a terraced house may require about two years to build. However, it is also important to know that unforeseen circumstances that we cannot control might also affect the completion of the project. For example, the pandemic's impact on the construction industry in 2020.  

    Therefore, while waiting for the house's completion, it is recommended that the homeowners are also prepared for any unexpected changes. 

  • 4. Other than landed houses project, does your company also help in other type of residential or commercial property?

    Yes. However, our specialisation is still A&A works, Reconstruction, or Design and Build of landed properties in Singapore.

  • 5. Must my budget be big, in order to engage your company services?

    No. We believe all customers are important to us, regardless of their project sizes.

    That is why we also provide house repair services to both our existing and new clients. 

    As for our A&A works or Design & Build projects, our key objective is for our clients to enjoy the best out of their available budget sizes in terms of functionality, practicality, and beauty. Moreover, we also believe that good quality materials are essential for our clients' projects. 

    Hence, we will do a justifiable and reasonable quotation for our clients.

  • .6 Can you help to calculate my property's GFA?

    Yes, we can. 

    On top of that, our managers can also suggest other types of changes that you can make to your landed property to increase its future value. 

  • 7 I love to install your materials (RE-Panel, Avant-Garde Aluminiums) in my home. Can I just install them without engaging your A&A works or Design and Build services?

    Yes, you can.

    However, we may have to charge the original fees for the supply and installation of our products (RE-Panel or Avant-Garde Aluminium) for non-A&A or Design & Build customers.

    Our new or existing A&A or Design & Build customers can enjoy the products at a special price.

  • 8. How much roughly does it cost to rebuild a house? Or make changes to an existing property?

    The cost of the house reconstruction or the A&A works largely depends on the project's scale, timeline, and complexity. The larger the size, the longer the timeline or, the more complexed the project is; the cost will thus be relatively higher. 

    For a better cost estimate, it is best to show us the floor plan and discuss it with our senior designers or managers.
